主讲人简介：

葛颢，北京国际数学研究中心长聘副教授，北京大学生物医学前沿创新中心特聘研究员，博士生导师。主要研究领域为随机过程和统计学与物理、化学、生物等的交叉。2008年在北京大学数学科学学院获得博士学位。博士毕业后曾在复旦大学数学科学学院任讲师和副教授。2010-2011年任美国哈佛大学化学与化学生物学系访问学者。2011年10月入职数学中心，2018年2月晋升长聘副教授。在国际重要学术期刊发表论文50余篇。曾获得2009年中国数学会“钟家庆数学奖”(优秀博士论文奖) 、2010年全国优秀博士论文和2016年国家自然科学基金委优秀青年基金项目。

活动内容摘要：

Stochastic modeling and statistical learning become more and more useful and popular recently. I will briefly talk about two stories related to stochastic modeling and statistical learning in single-cell biology. The first one is the nonequilibrium mechanism of noise enhancer synergizing with activator in HIV latency reactivation. The second one is direct reconstruction of gene regulatory networks underlying cellular state transitions without pseudo-time inference.
